Crystal Hermitage Castle in the Clouds Canvas Print

This acrylic painting was painted during a seclusion I took in December 2011. It was inspired by the place that I stayed during my seclusion, Crystal Hermitage, Guest House in Nevada City, CA, an amazing and beautiful place. The living room has windows up to the ceiling where you can look out and see the beautiful sky and oak trees, and pine trees, birds and all kind of nature, clouds, and a vastness of sky. My seclusion included time for deep meditation and this is the painting that came to me, I actually saw the lotus flower and crystal castle on the canvas before I painted it. It was as if the lines were drawn for me. My focus during the whole painting was on the quality of Aum or Amen, the universal word of spirit. I offered myself into the spirit of aum and did my best to tune into this quality and this painting, Crystal Hermitage Castle on a Cloud was the result. I had much fun painting this painting.
