Artist's Description
This Painting was inspired during an all day Christmas meditation on December 23, 2011 and by the chant, "Cloud Colored Christ Come" written by Paramhansa Yogananda as well as the song, "Dark Eyes" written by Swami Kriyananda.
This painting of Jesus Christ, the white lamb, Mary, the dove, trees, earth, other planets, stars and clouds represent, each of our own search and aspiration for truth and understanding. Mary is seen with her hands over her heart as she prays for the world and those who live in the world. Mary feels great empathy and compassion for those in the world who are suffering, all animals, humans, all creatures alike. With great compassion and a certain sadness, of not understanding why we all have to go through so much pain, she offers this up to her own higher self, or God. Determined that so many souls, deserve so much more, and with a great desire to see many people lifted out of their suffering, with dynamic will and concentration of prayer she gives all t...
